This is a Hurricane Ike post - our dad and brother went and helped our grammy during the hurricane.She lives 120 miles northwest of Galveston and this is just a few photos of the damage.
She lost several big trees - one went in her house!
She was okay - just scared.We would have been too (so would Joe Stains!) The root span was 12 feet high our dad said!
Trees blocked each entrance onto her property, but they cut up the trees and tarped Grammy's roof! She will not have power for at least a week.. our Aunt Jocelyn is out too... plus her phone lines too!
Daddy brought Grammy a generator so she has some power
