So much has gone on since last post - Waylon had a new coat tailored for him from his dad, it snowed here.
Willie & Waylon decided to eat things they should not, and we got our Christmas decorations up!

We are going to see family this week. We are leaving on Wednesday and be back during the weekend. We are going to a small ranch with chickens, horses, goats, and sheep. Oh and 3 other dogs. We don't really play with the other dogs because they are rough country dogs and we are city dogs (whatever that means)

Waylon asked me to give an update - as well as for another treat. The vet said he did not why he had a seizure. His still healing previously broken, now fitted w/ plates and screws front leg has drainage and he did not know why because after x-rays nothing was out of place. SO anti-biotics for the next week or so.
He is acting very normal (for him ). Thanks again for everyone's thoughts.

Something is wrong with Waylon. He had a seizure last night. It was horrible. I was so scared..he was outisde to do his business before going to bed. I let him out, walked in for a minute, and then walked out and called his name. he stood there staring at me, tried to walked and was wobbly. I screamed for my husband to come out. He ran out and picked up Mr WayWay and then set him down to see if he was okay and he just fell to the ground flailing his legs. It was horrible to watch. He picked him up, we got in the car to go to the emergency vet and he decided he wanted to assess him one more time. He went inside (I could not watch) and he came out and he was okay. Walking around and went into his kennel. He was panting, but then calmed down. I held him for awhile. Willie was upset and kept sniffing brother. He has an appt in the morning at 9am to get checked out. He is fine today. Sleeping as usual. He is going everywhere w/ me today. I am not going to leave him alone for awhile.

We had a blast at the ranch...unfortunately Waylon had too much fun. He had surgery for a broken right front leg on 6/23/06 and he over did it this weekend. We went to the vet yesterday because his incision was completey healed started to ooze. A screw holding the plate in his leg has moved - so for the next 2 weeks he has to be locked up. Poor guy. He should be okay....just no playing again. Willie wants another brother... he said this one is broken all the time.

We have been very lazy.. it is still in the 90's here in Texas. This weekend we are going to a ranch and be country dogs. Our mom said she would take photos....but she says that all the time.
At the ranch there are racoons, skunks, armadillos, and many other critters our mom says we can't make friends with... I don't understand why she is so protective of us.

We are fighting over mama. Willie was there first..but I have to at least try to get her attention.

We are home! We spent the weekend at the kennel.. It was okay, BUT we found out where mom & dad went - to our friends in Round Rock! We are not very happy about being left out - they saw Lauren & Jonathan! NO FAIR! We love them and have not seen them in a month!

Our mom & dad are going away this weekend AND next weekend. we are going to be boarded. We are not happy. We have started a petition drive to stop this action. We can stay at home by ourselves - we promised no poker parties.

It is too hot here in Texas....over 100 degrees everyday this month so far. We went to our friend's ranch over the weekend. Mom bought us car seats and we love them. We can see out of the window and mom doesn' t yell at us anymore.

We had a field trip today. We went to Petco to get new harnesses for our new doggie car seats. Waylon went too in bis lame stroller. I made friends with the rabbits.

Today mom took us on a walk. We haven't been doing that enough lately because of brother's broken leg...I am so tired of the broken leg. He gets carried around everywhere, he has the softest blankie in his kennel, and his own stroller!! That's okay.. I am getting extra treats and more play time than he is. What I miss the most is sleeping on my brother. My parents are afraid he may get hurt if they leave us alone together...we do tend play a little rough. So I have my own kennel now. My mom found a couple of photos from last year of us sleeping...at least I am not drooling in my sleep.

I am doing MUCH better. It has ben 20 days since my surgery. I am allowed to walk some (not enough in my opinion). My mama bought a dog stroller for me... I thought it was lame at 1st, but actually I love it. I can watch my mama cook when she is in the kitchen instead of being stuck in my dungeon. AND Willlie is so jealous of it.
